Influence of Organic Amendments Based on Garden Waste for Microbial Community Growth in Coastal Saline Soil

چکیده
Garden waste compost (GWC) has been applied as an amendment to improve the desalination efficiency, nutrient availability and diversity of microbial community in coastal saline soil. Understanding response garden application is great significance ecological restoration. Four treatments were established: CK, nonamended control; T1, 68 kg·m−3 compost; T2, 15 bentonite; T3, a mixture bentonite. In addition, soil physicochemical properties, enzymes, biomass carbon measured. The results show that T3 had more significant effect on increasing well nitrogen, urease, sucrase dehydrogenase activities. Based relative abundance, linear discriminant size (LEfSe) analyses, amendments can be seen have increased abundance alpha bacterial structure also altered structure. RDA Pearson correlation analysis at phylum level indicated available total porosity, hydraulic conductivity, bulk density EC primary determinants communities associated with this amendment. conclusion, enables microorganisms participate material cycle, indicating composting beneficial restoration soils.

Application of Organic Amendments to a Coastal Saline Soil in North China: Effects on Soil Physical and Chemical Properties and Tree Growth
The ability of the following four organic amendments to ameliorate saline soil in coastal northern China was investigated from April 2010 to October 2012 in a field experiment: green waste compost (GWC), sedge peat (SP), furfural residue (FR), and a mixture of GWC, SP and FR (1∶1∶1 by volume) (GSF). Compared to a non-amended control (CK), the amendments, which were applied at 4.5 kg organic mat...

The ever increasing pile-up of electronic waste in dumping sites, especially in developing countries such as China, Pakistan, India and several African countries, might have caused a significant alteration in the microbial community of the contaminated sites. This change in the microbial population may have significant impact to the soil ecology function. The major pollutants of electronic wast...

متن کاملInfluence of Microsprinkler Irrigation Amount on Water, Soil, and pH Profiles in a Coastal Saline Soil
Microsprinkler irrigation is a potential method to alleviate soil salinization. After conducting a homogeneous, highly saline, clayey, and coastal soil from the Bohai Gulf in northern China in a column experiment, the results show that the depth of the wetting front increased as the water amount applied increased, low-salinity and low-SAR enlarged after irrigation and water redistribution, and ...
متن کاملInfluence of agro-waste amendment on soil microbial population in relation to plant growth response.
Introductions of high yielding inorganic fertilizer are not cheap and leave behind a large amount of dry matter for disposal. Thus there is a need to utilize these plant residues to save fertilizers and maintain a satisfactory level of soil fertility. Hence, with the view of in-situ manuring as well as to recycle the agricultural residue, pot experiments were conducted to study the effect of wh...
